Injury First Aid (A - Z)

An injury is defined as physical harm or damage to the body such as accidental wounds or traumatic injuries. Injuries often break the skin or body tissues such as cuts, scratches, scrapes, and puncture wounds.

You should seek medical attention if a wound is deep, if you cannot stop serious bleeding, or it does not heal. Use this A to Z list of first aid treatments for common injuries from bites to teeth.
