OSHA First Aid Kits

In the United States of America, the OSHA standards are rules that describe the safety first aid methods which employers must use to protect their employees from hazards. OSHA standards apply to Construction work, Maritime operations, and General Industries. The standards limit the amount of workers' exposure to hazardous chemicals, they require the use of certain safe practices and equipment, and they require employers to monitor and record hazards and workplace injuries and illnesses.

OSHA requirements for industrial first aid kits list the following as the minimally acceptable number and type of osha approved first aid supplies for medical first aid kits. The contents of the first aid kit listed should be adequate for small work sites, consisting of two to three employees. When larger operations or multiple operations are being conducted at the same location, additional industrial first aid kits should be provided at the workplace first aid station or additional quantities of safety first aid supplies should be included in the first aid kits;
